With bootchart, you are able to mesure how fast your pc is booting. You just need to install the package:yum install bootchart
The following instruction (init=/sbin/bootchartd) is added in the /etc/grub.conf file in the kernel line.
Then reboot your pc. A data file is created in /var/log/bootchart.tgz. Then just run bootchart to generate a png file.
